Meet Jenna
Yes, this beautiful face is familiar. This is Jenna Skews; she was Buddies For Life summer 2012 Super Survivor. Now, she is part of the Breast Health Foundation team.
Jenna Skews found a malignant sarcoma, resulting in a lifesaving mastectomy in 2012 – her matric year. Having an experience with breast cancer so young, Jenna found a community of understanding and hope in the Breast Health Foundation.
She says, “I found ladies that understood my struggles, that inspired me through their stories. I gained so much hope and strength through the women of BHF. It made me realise that I am alive and want to give back to the community that gave me hope.”
Using her degree in psychology and her post-graduate diploma in business management, she will be BHF’s project administrator.
