Welcome to another exciting issue of Buddies For Life. I write this introduction as we celebrate International Mandela Day (how proudly South African is that!). If you have not done your 67 minutes yet, I encourage you to buy and then donate a Buddies For Life magazine to someone who has been affected by cancer. The disease we will eventually beat. As Madiba said: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
August is such an important month; the celebration of women. Super Survivor, Norma Mbali, epitomises the power of a woman. Let’s all support her amazing initiative.
As for the support that all great women need – Go Pegghy, go! Read about Pegghy and her amazing brother, Yvot. Most importantly, let’s endorse proudly African female entrepreneurship.
