Welcome to another great issue of Buddies For Life. A quote from Eleanor Roosevelt springs to mind when looking at this use: “If life were predictable it would cease to be life, and without flavour.

These two Super Survivors epitomise Charles R Swindoll’s saying, “Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% how you react to it” when faced with the unpredictable. They inspire so many!

Read about flu vaccines, pathology and about the Cartoon Network baddies (luminal A breast cancers).

As well as amazing advances in managing brain tumours; the ongoing of awareness in head and neck cancer; and the importance of fertility in female cancer patients.

Remember when it rains, look for rainbows and when it’s dark look for stars.

And, finally, in the words of Aubrey Hepburn, “The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy- it is all that matters.
